Located within a historic manor in the southern Charente, at the threshold of the Dordogne, this gîte renovation began with a single question: how should this place feel to inhabit?

The interior does not announce itself. Instead, it invites, through the subtle relationship between light, material, proportion, and mood. The design process was holistic and experiential, shaping space through reflection, dialogue, and attunement to daily rhythms rather than aesthetic formula.
