Restorative Workscapes
Fashion Brand Headquarters, Portugal:
This sustainable fashion brand headquarters in Portugal was conceived not as a space of continuous performance, but as a restorative landscape where wellbeing, creativity, and belonging could coexist.
The design process began with observation, understanding how people actually feel, move, and interact at work. Spatial decisions emerged from this research rather than abstract metrics, creating environments attuned to human rhythms and needs.
Biophilic principles shape the atmosphere throughout: natural light, greenery, materiality, and acoustic care create conditions that restore attention, encourage creativity, and support emotional regulation. The space balances focus with interaction, movement with pause.
Given the company's hybrid culture, the headquarters was designed as a place of reconnection rather than obligation, offering moments for social exchange, contemplation, and informal collaboration that draw people back by choice, not necessity.
The result is a quiet expression of the brand's values: care for people, alignment with nature, and a commitment to workspaces that nurture both individual vitality and collective culture.
